Beginner Tattoo Kits

Why a person gets tattooed is hard to explain. There are a lot of reasons for getting a tattoo, but every person has a unique reason for it. Some tattoo to remember a special moment in their lives, some to show their love, others just like tattoos as an art form. Whatever may be the reason, tattooing today is a craze all over the world.

For those who love tattoos and want to learn the art of tattooing, beginner tattoo kits are available in the market. This saves you a lot of money and you get all the tools required to start your business. Beginner tattoo kits have the tattoo machine, needles, tubs and ink but there are many kits that give you more items free of cost. One such item is flash sheets which give you wonderful designs to start your work. On thing that is very important in beginner tattoo kits is the variety of ink.

Make sure you choose a kit that has a large variety of inks as your clients may demand more colorful designs. Do not forget to look for the protective gloves and the rubber bands. As the tattooing machines are mostly hand made, make sure you are comfortable working with a machine before you buy it out. This is possible if you are buying from the local market but if you are buying the kit online, you have to rely on the website.
Often a CD or a DVD is supplied with the beginners tattoo kits that is a very handy tool as it explains in very easy steps all the process that is involved in making a tattoo. These kits come in a carry case so that you can carry your tools from one place to another to serve your clients.

Then there is a thing called ‘practice skin’ that allows you to master your designs on a fake skin before you try them out on actual human skin. The tattoo gun should be handy and you should be comfortable to work on. It should balance perfectly in your hand and you should not feel any kind of pain while holding for long periods of time. Beginner tattoo kits come with a lot of needles but look out for the variety you want and see that you are able to change the needles easily for different areas of the skin. Check that the gun has a reliable power supply and a long cord so that you can reach out to different parts of the clients’ body easily.

Once you have got your tattoo kit, it is important to start practicing. While tour dear friend or a family member may trust you and give his wrist or leg to begin experimenting, it is often advisable to start with practice skins that come along with beginner tattoo kits. Remember, earning a reputation is harder than loosing it quickly.

How Long Does A Tattoo Last?

How long does a tattoo last?

All tattoos are temporary, lasting anywhere from hours to years. Man has yet to invent technology that allows a “permanent” tattoo to retain its original colours and form over time without changing.

The temporary tattoos, of that name, include any tattoo inks that are applied to the outer layer of the skin and which has not become intimately associated with the skin, as is the case with permanent tattoos.

One type of temporary tattoo is the “temporary tattoo transfer” which is made out of ink and glue. The tattoo image is printed onto a small paper card. The card is then placed on the skin facing downward. Next, you apply water to the back of the card and after approximately 30 seconds the card separates from the skin leaving only the tattoo behind on the skin. These last approximately 3-7 days or until removed.

Another type of temporary tattoo is “temporary airbrush tattoos”, also known as “TATs”. To create a TAT you simply place a stencil on the skin and apply tattoo ink with an airbrush. The airbrush gun applies ink to the skin using pressurised air. Applying baby powder to the TAT will extend the life of the TAT. These can last at least a week, depending on the wear it receives.

Another type of temporary tattoo is “henna temporary tattoos”. These are made from the leaves of a henna plant, where the active dye bonds well with protein and therefore is used to dye skin, fingernails, hair and other protein based materials. Henna temporary tattoos last anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks depending on your body temperature, where it’s applied and how often the henna area is washed.

There is practically any design you want available out there, and if you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, then there is always Do It Yourself (DIY) Tattoo Paper or Tattoo Decal Paper. It’s really easy to use and all you need is a computer, a printer and some DIY tattoo paper and you’re set. This is also a lot of fun for kids to create and design their own tattoos.

Tattoos are great for a range of purposes: Self-expression, art, advertising, religion, marriage and more.

To remove a temporary tattoo simply apply baby oil to the skin and wipe it off. Most tattoos are quite safe, but it’s best to check the ingredients to make sure you’re not allergic to any of the inks or ingredients being used. It is also possible to remove a “permanent” tattoo using laser removal.

Even though permanent tattoos don’t retain their original colour or form for life, some tattoos have been found on the mummified remains of their owners thousands of years after their death. Man has obviously had a fascination with tattoos, body art and adornments throughout history, with tattooing being one of the oldest art forms on the planet.
