Brown residue on the bottom of disposable plastic cup?
Hello everyone, This morning I want to pour some water into one of those plastic cups disposable red you can find in the tent, and after pouring it and taking a swing, I looked down and saw the fund had a spot of color golden-brown on the bottom of the cup. I quickly threw the cup and took another. Now that I know have not been used, but I can be wrong but does anyone know just what the hell was that? And something will happen to me?
sounds like it was used, but should be fine

There used to be (still is?) A Japanese shop in Leeds selling ornaments, glass- aesthetics with very small fish in them. They used some kind of grass to create a living ecosystem, so there was no artificial ventilation, etc. Anybody know anything about this type of aquarium and how to establish and maintain? I can see that it will be very difficult to choose a best answer. You all have confirmed my fears and reason not to buy one when I first saw it, which basically are not good for fish. Maggie, I especially liked the link you gave me. I like the idea of a more large (floor) of the aquarium, I like the concept of attention to detail required. Very interesting. I learned something new.
You are most think such instead of some variation in the death trap betta vase. (Betta Splendens are from Thailand.) Bettas are pretty tough fish can breathe air from the surface of water. This leads people to do different things, and put in small containers with a plant and not change the water. Anyone who claims that I can sell an ecosystem own maintenance a fish is lying or mistaken. (Well, a pond can hold about a fish per 100 gallons as a well established ecosystem.) A betta can live in an ornamental vase or other container, if fed, and get regular water changes. The problem is more the novelty of betta contains these not work more than about 3 weeks. A healthy Betta to can often survive for three weeks without food. (Note that more than a week of fasting is likely to shave off years of life cut Betta 3-5 years.) In fact, lack of food actually helps prevent fish die from ammonia poisoning. (Ammonia + Fish food =) The plant is just a joke. Bettas are carnivores. And eventually the first years are important bio note that you need to concentrate on plants 10 to 20 times the weight of an animal is to process waste, and provide food and oxygen. Bettas should be kept in a container or tank. Ideally, at least 2.5 liters with water once a week. Smaller containers will work, but require water changes twice a week. Bettas need a meal with insect / worm / shrimp / fish as it is a major component. Finally, the need to have Betta access to fresh air at the surface of water. (Betta, in fact, do not have the guts to work and can drown.)

Do Japanese people really serve That fish is still alive?
I am going to Japan this summer and the one thing I'm not looking forward to is the sushi Still living They serve. I love sushi but i do not like the idea of a moving fish on my plate, but i would not want to offend Any of the Japanese Customs. I would not really care if the fish Was Already Though dead … So what I am wondering is if the moving They serve fish are still alive or if They are just moving from Nerves or something … Does anyone know?
I But can not remember Exactly Where It Was in the Izu Peninsula near Shimoda. I Was driving with my girlfriend When We Came across a little make shift hut on the beach with a small fishing boat next to it. We Walk Over, and They Were serving sashimi of live fish That are still alive. The fisherman / cook pinned livve the head of a small fish (I forgot What It Was Kind But only about 8 inches long) Then a wooden board on the inner Organs cleaned in about 15 seconds, and Open the flesh, chopped it Into pieces Still Within the fish's body, and Serve it to us to eat right there. The whole process took less Than a minute. We picked directly the raw flesh from the body of the fish Which Was Still Moving ITS tail and head. Was it delicious as well as an unforgettable experience. The flesh caused to electrical little tinge on my tongue muscle fibers becuse Were Still Actively firing. Edgar
