VCH Piercing … jewelry?
Okay, so I've been planning ahead a bit, because I am very happy to change my jewelry VCH, once cured and everything. I (like many do) have a bar and bought a 14 gauge titanium silver belly button surgical steel bar. It's just a plan with a blue glass rod on the ball, do you think this is too heavy for a VCH piercing. Also, do you think is too much for that area for bacteria, etc? To say I do not stay with "the area" clean and beautiful, but just to be sure I'm doing the right thing, I want a second opinion ….! Thanks for your help!
I'd stay away from titanium plates surgical steel material .. the lining seems to come easily, and I've heard from people who have reactions of what lies beneath the liner. Real stainless steel, titanium or real would be best. I do not think it would be too heavy at all, although in my experience too tight 14 gauge which causes a little pain – I got mine pierced at 14 and make sense, then, extended to 10 due to punctures.
